If you just landed but haven’t booked a rental car yet, you may be able to use a new feature on your iPhone to name your own price as soon as the captain says its O.K. to turn on your phone. Priceline.com has expanded its popular Hotel Negotiator app for the iPhone and iPod Touch to include a Name Your Own Price rental car service.
The new Hotel & Rental Car Negotiator app allows users to choose a car type, negotiate the price and book a rental on their iPhone or IPod Touch up to 30 minutes before pickup.
